UWEX® 720 C
Despite its small size and search head this small and most simple to use underwater metal detector offers an impressive detection performance and an outstanding resolution of small metal objects buried closely to each other.
The UWEX® 720 C detects ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. The limits of detection range depend on the size, distance and kind of metal object to be detected. Small objects such as coins may be detected up to 25 cm distance while large objects
can be located at correspondingly larger distance.
OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The UWEX® 720 C operates on the Pulse Induction Principle (PI), which is advantageous for use in fresh and saltwater. The detection range is high so that in many cases the buried objects cannot be recovered by hand.
CONSTRUCTION
The UWEX® 720 C is a battery operated, pressure waterproof metal detector for underwater use. It consists of a single sided headset and a search head flanged to the detector handle with built-in electronics and battery compartment.
By rotation of the handle against the search head the detector is put into operation. Sensitivity can be adjusted by means of the sensitivity adjustment ring even when wearing diving gloves.
The pressure waterproof headset transfers the alarm. The device gives clear audio alarms, which allow conclusions on targets size and distance due to the change in alarm frequency and intensity.
The spring clip and the rubber ear shell can be dismantled from the headset to suit an operation with a dry diving suit.
