UWEX® 722 T
The UWEX® 722 T is designed for search after metal objects on land or underwater. It detects ferrous and non-ferrous metals and also alloys.
The detector is a further development of the NATO introduced UWEX® 722. Large and small objects can be distinguished as an audio tremolo coding of the alarm signal (index T). Size and conductivity of the objects are analyzed by the detector electronics and indicated by a modulation of the audio signal. The diver can differentiate between scrap and objects worth excavating.
OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The UWEX® 722 T operates with the Pulse Induction Principle (PI) and can be used in fresh and saltwater. When detecting large or highly conductive metal objects the detector will add a modulation to the alarm signal to assist in a pinpoint location of the objects.
CONSTRUCTION
The UWEX® 722 T is a battery operated, pressure waterproof metal detector. It consists of a square shaped search head with joint, which is fl anged to the detector handle containing the battery compartment and socket for the headset. The detector is switched on by half-rotation of the handle. The sensitivity can be adjusted by means of a sliding adjuster at the search head joint.
For the operation on land the extension rod can be screwed between the search head and module. A transport bag is delivered together with the detector.
