UWEX® 725 PA
The UWEX® 725 PA works by means of the Pulse Induction Principle with audio coded object information.
The index PA stands for Pulse Analyzing System that analyzes and indicates the decay times and/or the object's signature of detected metal objects.
OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The Pulse Analysing System (PA) analyzes the decay times and/or the object's own signature of the metal objects to be detected. Small objects and short decay times will lead to a continuous alarm signal. Large metal objects or those with high electrical conductivity will lead to additional pulsing information, which is indicated by audio and visual alarm. The diver receives important positional information.
After some experience, deductions to size, position and depth of detected objects will be possible by means of the alarm signals as well as various indication geometry, pinpointing or flat indication.
The detector can be used on magnetic ground or near terra cotta (stones) due to the PA principle. The tremolo alarm indicates conductive metal objects reaching the search head and swapping interference level.
This advantage is appreciated by many operators such as underwater archaeology, BAC and police!
CONSTRUCTION
The UWEX® 725 PA is a battery operated, pressure waterproof metal detector. It consists of a search head with a joint, which is flanged to the detector handle, extension rod and headset.
The handle contains the electronics circuit board and the battery compartment. Signals are indicated by the alarm LEDs which are placed at the bottom of the handle and audio signals which are transmitted by the headset.
